The family of Mr and Mrs Felix Ubani Enoch of Abia State but resident in Aba, has passionately appealed to the wife of the Abia State Government, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu, State Government, philanthropists, good spirited Abians and Nigerians to come to their aid as they cannot afford further medical bills to treat their only son, Master Favour Ubani, who had fire accident.

The couple who are yet to recover from the shock of seeing their only child Master Favour Ubani lay helplessly at Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, without financial assistance from anyone, made their plight known to a cross section of Journalists in Umuahia.

Little Master Ubani who returned from school last week Tuesday very hungry according to a source close to the family, was burnt by fire from a cooking stove as a neighbour's daughter was assisting in preparing noodles for little Master Favour Ubani.

It was gathered that due to the carelessness of the neighbour's daughter, she forgot that she was cooking noodles and went out to play with her peers only to leave little Master Ubani who was very hungry to be dragging the pot on fire. It was at this point that the pot fell down, while the stove mixed with kerosene, exploded on little Master Ubani's body.

At this point, the little boy cried for help while rolling on the floor, but could not find one. At last when help did came, Little Master Ubani had been burnt almost beyond recognition, he was quickly rushed to Family Health Clinic, Brass Road, Aba, Abia State, where he spent one week after various hospitals rejected him.

Little Master Ubani was discharged on Monday, April, 19, 2021 and referred to Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia for further treatment after the Doctors and Nurses at Family Health Clinic, Aba.did their best to revive him.
