Peace be unto you in the name of our Lord Jesus

Where is your treasure?

Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Beloved, set you heart on the doing the will of the Father. What do you treasure the most? Do you treasure the Word of GOD? Do you treasure the gift of Salvation? Or is it the world, material possessions, cares and affairs of this world which does not profit and will eventually pass away that you treasure?

What you treasure (value) the most is your treasure. What do you take as utmost importance? what is your priority? Your heart will be focused on what you value the most. Therefore Beloved, treasure the things which pertains to the Lord your GOD.

Treasure;
- The Word of GOD - make it a priority to study and the read of GOD and to obey it. The Word of GOD will keep you sanctified and guide you in to walk in the ways of Christ Jesus.
- Gift of Salvation - therefore don't walk out of the way of salvation and compromise but hold firm, giving diligence to pleasing the Lord your GOD in Holiness, purity, consecration and sanctification.
- The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life and don't grieve Him but obey all His leading. Don't defile the temple of GOD(your body) with worldliness, fleshly lusts and sin. Don't engage in worldly conversation.
- and do the will of GOD, the will of GOD is for you to do good unto all men, to walk His ways, to preach the gospel, show love and have compassion on your fellow men, pray for men and so on.

Beloved, where is your treasure? What are things you focus on daily? What are those you give all your attention to daily? If you treasure the things of this world, just know of a surety that the cares and things of this world are vain and will one day pass away but those things which pertains to the Lord your GOD will abide forever and a reward/prize shall be given you.

Therefore, value those things which pertains to the Lord your GOD - pleasing Him in all things and doing good to others as unto the Lord. Finally,

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Look unto Jesus daily, take your gaze of the things which are vain - the deceitful pleasure of this present world. The world, sin and fleshly lust has nothing to offer you but death but the Lord GOD has eternal life (a glorious Home) to offer you. Choose wisely, I beseech that you choose to set your affection on things above that you may reign with Christ Jesus in Glory.
