Job Title: Quality Control and Assurance Support

Location: Lagos

Job Summary: The role is responsible for making sure that technical quality standards are being met and that company/industry quality procedures and controls are being followed. Goods and equipment for the oil and gas industry must meet very strict technical quality standards and Quality Controllers have a key part to play in making sure goods and equipment are fit for purpose and safe

The Quality Control and Assurance support personnel is responsible in supporting the QAQC supervisor to ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market.

Essential Job Functions
• Champion Nationwide Product Quality Management and Assurance at 3rd party sites and outlets.
• Drive compliance to Tracking 0.3 initiative by ensuring all trucks in the system have accurate/valid calibration, work with Asset
Optimization/Fleet to weed out bad trucks whilst eliminating financial loss arising from incomplete deliveries.
• Champion Shortage Resolution core systems and track consistent compliance as relates to Operations department.
• Supervise Truck Inspection and Truck Audit and nationwide Truck calibration and recalibration - Ensure trucks have valid calibration.
• Act as a representative on behalf of Ops to observe and give reports regarding station tank calibration for alignment in measures and standard
• Conducts visual and measurement tests, rejecting materials, etc. which do not conform to quality and industry standards.
• Documents test/inspection results by completing reports and log.
• Ensures equipment used within the test and inspection process is properly calibrated
• Reports any breaches of safety procedures to supervision / management
• Quality analysis and verification at customer location and stations
• Carries out site audits and produces reports

Qualification / Experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
• Certification in Environment, health, safety and quality will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of Two (2) years relevant work experience in downstream oil and gas supply chain management.
