Enugu Government Denies Demolishing New Artisan Market by OEPHIUS(m): 8:07pm On Apr 22, 2021
The Attention of Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA) has been drawn to the authority's name being peddled in connection with the Thursday, April 22 2021 incident at the closed New Artisan market.

Recall that the state government had in some years past shut down the new Artisan Market.

ECTDA has been inundunted with calls on inquries, regarding a demolition said to had been carried out at the previous market.

The Agency however wish to state that it is not aware of any enforcement at the New Artisan market, nor has it received any petition to that effect.

Let it also be known that the ECTDA was not part of whatever activity that took place at New Artisan and do not have any business with whatsoever activity there.

The general public should please be informed.

Dr. Josef Onoh

Executive Chairman,
Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA).

Thought I heard they has been chased away from that market when they killed those Sars officers some years ago, who allowed them back? Those people should contribute money and buy lands, not perch on other people land.

Gov Ugwuanyi is a FOOL just like the rest of the southeastern governors. Could you believe the government did not even address the destruction and burning of properties that was going on there as shown in the video. I can't for the life of me understand why they are so afraid even to speak what is obviously the truth. That destruction, chaos and mayhem from the FULANI TERRORISTS that they allow to fester would consume all of them when the time comes. May that same destruction befall them, their families and their generations yet unborn!
