NBC una papa there. Proscribe your papa. Leader of miyetti allah, 4th world's most dangerous terror group went to that same station and threatened all Nigerian christains, you did nothing. That station interviewed gumi, the bandits most trusted negotiator and u guys did nothing. Boko haram and the bandits combined have dinapped and have killed more than 300,000 innocent nigerians at the moment It is interview with a non-violent group that has not killed any civilian that is your biggest worry. Una papa. 1 Like |

othermen:shame on channels how? This is Nigeria, they would frustrate them out of business. Who would they sue? Or are you the one that would pay their staff and pay people that have paid them for services they ought to render. Dont 4get it will be channels tv against the corrupt FG. let's be logical, its a fight channels themselves know they can't win. |

All these discombobulated dingbats in different agencies of government can't just stop disgracing their remote dictators. I'm not an IPOB apologist but if the government is sincere with there pronouncement of IPOB as a terrorist organization why not go after the people that openly declare there support for the organization. I watched the so called interview and the guy that spoke with channels is not in hiding and is moving about freely yet a terrorist. No IPOB member is in hiding and all the members are all over the Internet declaring their support and membership of IPOB yet it is a terrorist organization. These are what happen when you stupidly rush to start what you cannot finish by declaring them terrorists when you don't even know what it takes to declare an organization a terrorist organization. Have you ever seen a bokoharam member online saying that he is a bokoharam member? The answer is no because he knows he will be hunted down yet IPOB is a terror organization and non of its members is in hiding. Arrant balderdash!! 2 Likes |

kingthreat: Hahahhaahahahaha. At least Chinese govt built a country and raised billionaires, developed the country and turned it into a super power. Here in Africa, what African leaders do with media censorship is to silence opposition to have the opportunity to loot endlessly, send their kids to best of Europeans counties, travel abroad for medicals while leaving their citizens to die in the poorly funded health care system. In Africa, politicians are lords. They steal and kill and do absolutely nothing for the masses. 3 Likes |

annyz: For interviewing the spokesman of a proscribed organization. This is against broadcast codes anywhere in the world. Channels is a law abiding corporate citizen who knows their rights and obligations. They are not anarchists who would want the country to burn over elections matter. I repeat, for airing the perverted views of the spokesman of a proscribed organization. Thank you |

oshozondii:It's professional misconduct with grave security implications by Channels TV staffers who actually need to be investigated. Channels TV has apologised but the personnel who approved the interview and the one who conducted the interview need to be investigated. What's their motivation for yielding channels TV platform for terrorists to rally their terrorist base after suffering humiliating decimation by our security forces ? DSS should find out. They would have brought Shekau nah |

what is 'bridge letter'? the station was fine and sanction to pay a N5m fine and you are talking of a letter not being for public consumption. ...this country self, must we turn lies to truth just to please a 4 or 8 years govt in power, forgetting they will no stay there for ever! |
Re: Channels TV Apologises For Breach Of Broadcasting Code – NBC by Emyogalanya: 8:40pm On Apr 27, 2021 |
I can bet my last Kobo that they did not apologize.if they did , it won't be NBC saying it. This is not the first time NBC fined a radio station. They only pay the fine. What's the value of an apology that will not affect the fine? Recall that's how they said Kanu once wrote a fake apology to Buhari back then. By the way do not even expect a refutal from channels 1 Like |

ALMUSTAQIM: The is Smtn called situation reporting, fact gathering where u have to take information from all sides possible. It’s not about ipob bt about journalism. We must get information from any source possible unhindered. Do u think reporters don’t interview rebels in the territories? Fg is just being a bully like Twitter said. Channels shud have stood their grounds. When a government is wrong bt insisting the right thing becomes difficult to do. 1 Like |
