Am honestly and sincerely tired of this government and this country!
Even with the money one is still not happy!
You cant travel to anywhere with peace of mind!
Evil lurking in every corner!
Life has become so worthless in this shithole!
You cant lie down in the night and sleep peacefully - you scared they may come in the dead of the night!
and then even as the day comes, you are bombarded with sad news and deaths all around!
Youths being killed left right and centre like its their fault the country is bad!
YET THE PEOPLE THAT MADE THE COUNTRY THIS TERRIBLE ARE THERE IN VARIOUS POSITIONS ENJOYING ENDLESS MONEY AND PEACE OF MIND NOT GIVING A DAMN ABOUT THE DEATHS AND SADNESS EVERYWHERE!
GOD AM SO TIRED, WHO WILL RESCUE US?
WHAT DEEP SIN HAVE WE COMMITED TO BE BORN IN THIS HELL CALLED NIGERIA!
WHERE ARE OUR SO-CALLED LEADERS?? WHAT DO WE DO TO GET OUT OF THIS TERRIBLE NIGHTMARE!
OH HEAVENS! WHY DID YOU ALLOW CALAMITY TO BEFALL US TWICE??
TO THINK WE STILL HAVE TWO MORE YEARS WITH THIS MONSTER ON THETHRONE! TWO MORE EFFING YEARS!

Hypocrisy is the problem with us ....
..And until this problem is solved, Nigeria will know no peace

When people vote via ethnoreligious line this is what you get as the outcome.
Voting a known religious bigot twice is the height of it all.
When the people stops attaching politics with religion or ethnicity, then the country will see progress.
You don't enforce a failure the second time.i might forgive those that voted him the first time but voting for him again the second time is just pure wickedness

Until we start to question the community that has been producing those good for nothing leaders, we still have a long way to go.
Funnily, majority of our current set of politicians have all been in our situation if complaining about the situation in the country, but the moment they get the power, memory removers in politics always wiped their plans.
Average Nigerians being dey waiting to get into any political position before they can contribute their quota towards the development of the country... Abi where are the ex contestants of different political position? Have they lost interest in turning things around?

The youths are the problem of this corntree. We are the fuel that drive and sustain this failed country. Whenever we are ready and say enough is enough, then things will change for good.
Truth is that, the armed robber that will come to rob and rape and even kill you at night is likely not an old frigile man. The kidnappers kidnapping innocent people are mostly the youth. The people our corrupt leaders will send to harrass and even assasinate you for speaking against their leadership are the youth. The sycophants who support and fight for PDP and APC are the youth. Helinues and the sarkki and the Madridguy and others defending Buhari's failures here are probably youths. The police or army officer that will harrass, extort and even kill you when you step out or drive out, is likely a youth. The fulani herdsmen, the boko haram members killing innocent people, are mostly youths. The yahoo yahoo frauds, the cult killings, are mostly by youths. The election thugs disrupting elections and rigging for politicians are mostly youth. The thugs that caused chaos and disrupted peaceful endsars protests were youths. We must tell ourselves the truth that no country can succeed or fail without the youths playing the biggest roles. Our leaders are failing because as youths we have failed. And until we set our priorities right, we will continue to fail.

helinues:The problem is not from the community. The problem is from the constitution. Make the political positions less attractive, cut off salary and add strict penalty to mismanagement and the country will begin to move fine. Let the presidency not have control over the judiciary and to obey the law. Very simple thing to do and you are blaming community. How will community force one to work when in Abuja?
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by helinues: 2:01pm On May 02
So na Alien go change the constitution?
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by ygowon: 2:04pm On May 02
2elliot:The problem is still the bad leadership because if the government had provided a conducive economic environment, businesses and companies will thrive and that means more investors. And that also results in high employment rate.
If the youths are gainfully employed, no one will be idle before the devil takes over him. Go to Dubai where almost all indigene are rich, rate of armed robbery there is at minimum. So, the government should situp instead of stealing our money.
Let the government reactivate all the government owned companies and put a strict penalty to mismanagement. Let the government make money from the companies and reduce taxes to attract investors and more businesses, that will provide plenty jobs for the youths.
But what the government know is tax tax tax increasing tax everyday. Transfer money, tax everyday tax
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by ygowon: 2:05pm On May 02
helinues:Na the community go change the constitution?
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by helinues: 2:11pm On May 02
Go back and read what you quote and adjust yourself
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by 2elliot: 2:14pm On May 02
ygowon:There is no leader that is not a youth or has not passed through the youth phase. There is a terrible decay in the youth phase. Until that decay is cleaned, we can not get that one leader who can do or become magic. Check all our corrupt old leaders, find out their past, have there been any difference? That wicked Buhari of 1984 is the the one 2021. Nothing changes.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by ygowon: 2:17pm On May 02
2elliot:It is the constitution that will force them to do the right thing. When they do the right thing, employments is one of the results and the youths will be working and living responsibly but if one is idle, the devil takes charge.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by Burtonj: 2:24pm On May 02
Those Zombies are irredeemable
They are all going to meet their waterloo soon.
The insecurities ravaging this country will get to them or their respective families
The evil that men do must surely live with them
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by 2elliot: 2:25pm On May 02
ygowon:That is true sha. but you will equally agree with me that the youths are the ones who can bring that constitutional change. Left for these old men, they have enjoyed their youth and have got nothing to loose. These men achieved all that power they now have in their youth. The likes of Buhari, Obansanjo, Gowon, Ojukwu, IBB, just name them. They used their youthful strength to amass those powers and shaped our corntree to how they want. Now it is our turn to reshape it to our own reality.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by ygowon: 2:50pm On May 02
2elliot:You are getting it right now. You are right that it is the youths that can bring the change. Very correct bro. And you know what, the change is what is going on now. The youths are now bringing the change. That is what IPOB is currently doing in the south east. I wish other regions can rise up too agasint their bad leaders and they will be forced to think twice.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by 2elliot: 2:56pm On May 02
ygowon:Thank you! I am an Ipob supporter, and we must bring that change.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by ygowon: 3:02pm On May 02
2elliot:May God continue to bless you. Our future generation must enjoy. We must pave way for them. No more no job. How can one graduate from the university only to be riding keke napep. How can one finish as engineer and start working as security? Too bad. The youths are slaves in their own country. The revolution has started! The zoo must fall.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by ObalaEmma: 3:17pm On May 02
When we stop using a stick and torch approach to important issues or when we face our deep problem and stop stealing from each other.
Nigeria as of now remain a big stealing country where the criminal do anything to keep his theft and activities going. Colonials stealing from their colony, tribes stealing from tribe, goverment stealing from thier citizens, the judiciary is huge stealing platform, lecturers stealing from their student, parent stealing from their children. There is no justice at all as those that will change things are the one making it worse. Unfortunately, the youth are divided along ethnic line, stomach infastructure while middle class is written class completely .
There is no real solution till we are tired of taking from one another and call for genuie agreement that is backed with strong laws .
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by 2elliot: 3:59pm On May 02
ygowon:Thank you, boss. Small small we go get there.
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by 2elliot: 4:08pm On May 02
ObalaEmma:We never had a genuine person who understood leadership. Our leaders since the coming of the colonial bastards have fashioned leadership in the style of the colonial bastards. In the same manner the kings and chiefs and influencial men sold us to those white men into slavery is same thing happening. Our leaders are so much in love with the wicked style of leadership by the colonial bastards. They saw the profit in enslaving the poor masses. That profit making system by the white bastards is replicated after gaining independence from the white man. We are now being colonised by our own black leaders. The poor masses have always been the victims.

I understand. Even with the money, you can't move freely cos of insecurity. If you see under my car seat you will think we are at war. Na only gun no dey there.
At this moment, if you see my browser history, it's almost all second passport/citizenship opportunities I'm just looking through. Processing one now for myself and immediate family. Japa it is!
Re: This Country Is Just So Depressing! by Gandollaar(f): 10:29pm On May 02
Fooolishbuharri:Japa tinz.. for how long?
Can we all run away?
What about the weak amongst us? Our extended families.
The south keep moving abroad while fulani move in to occupy. When they strike, only our old men and young are at home.
But this country ehn...
I honestly don't blame buhari because I never expected any differently but blame those that helped him to power.
The sour taste buhari will leave in the mouth of every Nigerian when he leaves power would linger for another decade.
The insecurity situation is so palpable everywhere you go, nowhere is safe.
