The readiness to proffer solutions to complicated discourse and issues; your continuous processes of fight against injustice; your patriotic zeal towards the development of Kwara state, Nigeria and Africa at large; your unending humanitarian concerns for the people; your glamorous counsel to the despaired and desperates; your admonition against vices of any kind; and also your unapologetic belief of what a sane society should be. You are remembered on this day as the sage who understands the dynamics of diplomacy as a yardstick for conservative correctness. You are remembered with class and intellect and humor and grace. You are a Leader we are proud of. You have moved forward on the progressive social issues that the people strongly believe in.

It is of course YOU who remind us of what it is to be a grown-up, when it is often the case that there are few grown-ups in the room and society.
