The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, in Scotland is offering a number of scholarships for applicants joining its undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programmes. Its a self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note: you must hold an offer to a full-time degree programme starting in the 2021/22 academic year before your scholarship application will be considered.

If you're applying for an undergraduate degree programme, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 10% reduction of your tuition fees for each year of study. Your first year’s scholarship will typically be £2,185. If you're applying for a postgraduate taught degree programme, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees, which will typically be £3,280.

In addition to this, the University also has a limited number of Dean’s International Excellence Awards for its postgraduate taught applicants. These scholarships are worth £5,000 and £8,000 and will be offered to exceptional applicants at postgraduate taught level only. Applicants need to only submit one application and will be considered for all levels of postgraduate taught scholarships.

If you're applying for postgraduate research degree programme, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees for each year of study. Postgraduate research degree applicants can apply year-round for the scholarships.

If you are studying a two-year MSc programme, you will receive a 15% scholarship for your first year only with a value of £3,280. The amount varies for selected programmes with a different tuition fee, including programmes within Architecture and Biomedical Engineering. Deadline is August 26, 2021.


Eligibility criteria
Undergraduate: Applicants with strong academic performance in high school are encouraged to apply. Scholarship decisions will be made on the basis of information contained in your undergraduate admissions and scholarship applications.
Postgraduate Taught: To be considered for the Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship applicants should normally have a 2:1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.
