I bought a rav4 2005/2006 model recently and observed the steering wheel is not very flexible as other power steerings and there is this noise when I enter potholes under the steering. I wanted to change the steering arms but was told unlike other vehicles, this is inbuilt, that I needed to change the steering rack instead. My mechanic doesn't sound convincing. Pls what is the way forward, has anyone here similar experience and how did you resolve it.?
