Gunmen suspected to be members of Ipob attack Idoro Ikpe Police Station in Ini LOcal Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in the early hours of today. Ini Local Government Area is a community sharing boundary with Abia State a known hub for IPOB and their security outfit ESN. Our reporter who spoke to Chairman Hon. Israel Idiasim confirmed that to us that IPOB was behind the attack and that the government will make a statement about it very soon. During the attack Six policemen were killed. Few days ago, the Chairman of Ikono Local Government Area Hon. Nyakno Okuibo alleged that members of ESN attacked the police station in Ikono killing two police men and destroyed several properties.
