The six casualties are not exclusively police officers. The police lose only five with one female civilian.

2. None of the officers suffer/sustain any form of injury.

3. According to the survivors, a good number of their assailants spoke in ibibio(a local language of the Akwa Ibom people) while others communicates in English/pidgin.

This is a firsthand info.

Pity for them small ni. So out of six, police lost "only" five. How many is enough?
Although the unintelligent, incorrigible intelligence officers would still make an unintelligent move next time they try killing six guys and would parade their bodies all over SMs to make it look like they love the score counts. I think the authorities should sue for peace and go for dialogue. Possibly give the repentant UGM scholarships to study in Europe and America, recruit them into the Army and give them quality military training. We have seen it done before, it would just be a "simple" or even "ordinary" replica
