Scrap and disband the house of legislature, the senators can do their job, they are all idle there. Nigerian people are spending over 500billion to maintain the complex and pay those self centered people there. The Senate can do their job. Other countries have done this in the past to save cost. Reduce the allowances of governors, president, ministers, local government chairman, you people have eating enough and what we pay is extravagant compared to other countries. We are in a war situation with kidnappers, bandits and terrorists, do you greedy men want to perish for money? Each government agency and parastatal should be making money not being parasites, sack and Prosecute the thieves that have siphoned money. We need a forensic probe of all governors, heads of parastatal, commissions, Ministers and the Executive, we need to collect back looted funds, we need it now than ever...the ship is sinking, we must salvage it. 1 Like 1 Share |

GOOD MOVE! But when will you drastically reduce your aides, minimize all convoys to just 3 max, reduce the fleet of presidential jets from 11 to 2or 3, eliminate yearly recycled projects in ALL budgets, cancel foreign schools for the kids of govt officials, cancel medical tourism for all govt officials, etc |

Cut down salaries as in lay off workers, reduce pension and gratuity payable, stop promotions and new recruitment. That is the strategy an unproductive government go for because they lack ideas. After they have devalued the currency, created a high inflation level and killed our productive sectors with multiple taxation and bans on importation of raw materials, how do they expect the people to survive. Such a selfish government. Why not cut on allowances, spendings on frivolities by government, participation in project execution and management and not useless oversight. Something is going down 2 Likes 1 Share |

This is not enough. Nigeria is like a sinking ship that needs a rugged captain to salvage it. Nigeria needs a revolutionary leader to "set the country on fire". Outside-the-box thinking - not due process - is the only way to save this country now. They cannot keep printing naira notes. We need to shut down either of the two legislative houses or amend the constitution to make them offer part-time services. They cannot keep taking 20% of Nigeria's budget. This is the revolutionary dexterity Buhari lacks. Instead, he prefers to keep borrowing from China at the expense of Nigeria's sovereignty. Buhari's successor will see hell; I just wonder who will agree to borrow him money when Buhari is owing many countries with no clear-cut plans of repaying them. 1 Like 2 Shares |

VeeVeeMyLuv: Your islamphobic statements exposes your fallacious mode of reasoning. Had your mother used contraceptive as you are advocating others to use, you wouldn't have been born into existence to be spewing thrash. Your birth certificate is the evidence that your father's condom failed him. |

BrandSpurNG: Very good development. Most people working in Nasrda, DPR, EFCC etc that do nothing earn 300k monthly and are wasting Nigeria's scarce resources. Most federal government agencies do nothing in reality, less than 10% of people working there actually do the work. The aboki directors and DG's simply load and overload payroll with their friend's children, their kids and criminal minded colleagues kids that take drugs and hardly come to work. Who pays these imbeciles salary? Tax payers. I personally know a level 10 staff in Nasrda that earns 289k monthly that hasn't stepped into the office since 2017 apart from his last promotion exam. Some core civil servants earn below 58k as level 08 B.sc and go to work regularly. I totally support this merge as it would reduce nepotism and promote equity. 1 Like 1 Share |

When you see government representatives from countries not west africa o. You see young, futuristic and adventurous youthful men and women but when you get home here, you see your ancestors still struggling for power. Where are we going? These people once they get to power they sit down as if they have gotten to their hotel rooms not realizing that it is employment that they just received from the people, so they must work and work hard to show appreciation to the people, but no, they dont, they want to settle all their bills and take care of all the things they have never been able to do in all their lives. They are poor inside, thier upbringing is poor, and their social circle is poor. They are the ones that consult marabouts, molest people, take over peoples wives and use religion as a barometer of their acceptance rather than laying roadmaps for success, and them building blocks for achievements. They don't point to the achievements they've made instead they accuse anybody and everybody of being their enemy. The question is can Nigeria afford to be having these type of people representing us? Obviously, NO, if we've made these types of mistakes in the past, let us resolve to say NEVER AGAIN. Let us look at their past, the things they have said and done for the people and for themselves. If anybody start talking about sharia or any religious ties let us collectively stone that one because he is coming to steal from the people. If after 100 days in office we cant get a sense where they are going. We must impeach them, no time for time wasters. |

SmartPolician:Boss there is nothing special in leading a country like naija turning around the country and transforming the economy. It is just that these people up there don't have any iota of love, patriotism, concern for this country. They are directly more interested and fiercely working against the progress of the very country they claim to be ruling. |
