Fix Insecurity Or Face Our Wrath, NAPS Warn Buhari

Warri- The Leadership of the National Association Of Polytechnic Students NAPS has call on the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari to stand firm and fix the issue of insecurity affecting the country or face the wrath of the youths.

Addressing newsmen at the Headquarters Annex of NAPS at the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe Oghara weekend, National Vice President of NAPS, Comrade Adogbeji Blessing noted that the security situation in Nigeria was worrisome urging Mr. President to urgently declare a state of emergency on insecurity in Nigeria.

Comr. Adogbeji who expresses dissatisfaction in the leadership style of President Buhari urged him not to play politics with the lives of Nigerians stressing thqt the protection of lives and properties was the primary objective of every Government.

The NAPS vice president further said that her Leadership is ready to mobilize their rank and files across the Six Geopolitical zones on a one million man match at the FCT demanding for good governance and improved security situation if Mr President fails to tackles the menace of insecurity affecting the Nation.

Adogbeji Blessing commiserated with Nigerians who have lost their loves ones as a result of failure on the part of our Government to protect her citizen’s adding that the Federal Government should uphold the agreement between them and the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic ASUP to avert any further strike.

The NAPS Vice President disclosed that the group was prepared to embark on a rescue mission by speaking up against lapses in President Buhari led Administration, particularly in the area of insecurity that has made fear to envelope the entire country in recent times.
