1. But my issue is that,it does not matter how much equipment you put in there.If the attitude of the employees are bad,it will only lead to a total waste of resource.
Our attitude towards saving human lives is the worst rated in the world.
Our medical practitioners behave like politicians. No compassion or empathy for humans.
2.Why should a Governor build a medical center with state money and name it after himself.
It is unbecoming of these Governors. These is arrant nonsense.
Are there no past statesmen from Ebonyi he can name it after.All these self aggrandizement by our politicians needs to be ended.

When I see things like this I begin to wonder where is Benue State governor, Ortom?

The Tivs are the most backward and sentimental set of humans in the world. They are responsible for the backwardness of Benue State by holding grip as though, the State belongs to them alone. Ortom has not commissioned any major projects since over 6 years now he has been in power. What a shame!

I congratulate Umahi and the entire people of Ebonyi State for this giant stride.

Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State is set to commission World Class Medical University.

Speaking with IGBERE TV correspondent, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Francis Nwaze said the gigantic project when completed will put an end to medical tourism outside Nigeria by many Nigerians.

Mr Nwaze who said the World Class University which will be commissioned in few weeks will equally attract foreigners to Ebonyi State.

According to him, "This is the result of having a committed, focused and dedicated Governor whose interest is for the betterment of his subordinates."

He said : "This is where we are; a medical university that will end foreign medical adventure by Nigerians and attract foreigners to our own Ebonyi State."

"The David Nweze Umahi’s Medical University is no longer a dream but a reality that will be made manifest in just a few weeks. This is the result of having a committed, focused and dedicated Governor whose interest is for the betterment of his subordinates."

"Governor David Nweze Umahi has written his name in the sand of time."

IGBERE TV gathered that the World Class Medical University when completed will treat renal malfunctions, perform kidney transplant, etc.

Ondo state was created in 1976, while Ebonyi state was created in 1996. 20 years apart.

If Ondo state got it just few years ago, it means it took them so many years to achieve what Ebonyi state have achieved within few years.

I'm not trying to troll because I'm not from each of the regions, but I just want us all to be acknowledging developments in Nigeria generally rather than making unnecessary comparisons always.
