Why did I choose 24v? Because I want to charge with panels. I will just switched from charging my house battery to this. You must find out how you want to charge the battery. If you want to use nepa, buy Laptop charger and step up the voltage from 19v to 24 volts. So take note. 1 Like |

I added a battery meter I got earlier from alieexpress. So I can monitor voltage. And a normal Dc switch |

So I needed to add something to my connector called sensor. It's a 3 pin capacitor. Positive pin Negative pin Sensor pin. Remember your hp adapter has 3 wire colorwhen you cut it. White color -ve Red color +ve Black color. Sensor. 1 Like |

I opened a burnt hp charger. I cut off the dc part. That's the part after the transformer. This is the remainder

That part after the transformer  is the sensor.So I connected it to my step down. So now my laptop charges.  1 Like

zenith4biz:my brother, i don't count. My former pack was 94 batteries and I use it for 8 hours. This one is 120 batteries. Probably 10 or more. I use the battery only for laptop and sometimes I use nepa. So I haven't tested this. But will empty it one day. I can only work 3-5 hours at a time . So unless there is rainfall and no nepa for two days before I notice a fall in battery level. Otherwise. It's usually NEPA to battery and back to NEPA 1 Like |

AfroAgroPower:my brother, projects are moving. I noticed some parts of my soldering were loose. And I have redo them. Pack is working well. I just repaired a small rechargeable light by changing the battery to laptop battery. It's a friend own. So I'm still on . Never learned electrical in school. But i have innate desire to learn it. I love solar. And been following by the side since 10 years. Finally got to practice since 2019. |
