The rubber stamp senator should not be defending the executive, he is a legislator who should listen to voices of the masses and direct hls members in the chamber to effect the needed amendment.

He is stupid to be directing Southern Governors instead of the president.

If he truly mean the southern governors should start restructuring from their end then let FG leave their resources to them and lets see the next level.

post=101671560:

He is talking shit by saying "State governors should work hard and concentrate on working and making their various states work and they should better the lives of the citizens they govern?

He is saying shit for saying "The solutions to our challenges must come from us regardless of what level of government we are"?

He is spilling shit for saying "those of us who were elected at all levels of government, we should avoid partisanship and focus to make our immediate surroundings a better place"

The politics of hatred and bitterness has turned some of you to something else.... for real!
Wailing blindly without thinking about a topic!
No normal thinking before y'all type again!
Let's leave it at that.
What a pity!

I think you need evaluation to ascertain if you truly understand what dangér Nigeria is in now or you are being economical with the truth.

Is he not correct about state enforcing restructuring from their respective state. I think this is a valid quest considering how state governments refused to allow local govt run properly in Nigeria.

I remember buhari working hard to pay LG directly to them with the governors revolting but they expect the president to heed their own submission anytime they want. This does not negate the fact that Buhari is a failure in every way just so we are clear.
Telling state governors to restructure their states is mischievous. There is no way u can restructure without amending the Constitution. Now let me ask u, do the governors have the power to amend the Constitution?

Nigeria has now reached a stalemate, if u like u can pretend about it. The only little hope we have to move the country forward is in restructuring. Restructuring the country will be beneficial to all of us

So I don't understand why some people feel threatened whenever they hear restructuring

It is obvious Lawan has been placed far above his Station as the head of our lawmakers otherwise he would appreciate that the constitution prevents Governors 'restructuring' their State as he hollowly demands.

Do these 'one Nigeria' Northerners even know what restructuring is? Southern Governors, for example, cannot even deliver State policing that most of them are demanding and Lawan is saying they should 'restructure' before demanding such of the FG.

Just fed up of these anti-progressive Northern elite typified by the likes of Lawan.
