Presidential Amnesty Phase 3: Generals Issue May 18 Protest Notice by unity004(m): 7:29am On May 16, 2021
WARRI – Over 562 ex-agitators, Generals and Leaders from the Niger Delta have issued a May 18 ‘Protest Notice’ to Col. Milland Dixon Dikio, the Presidential Amnesty Interim Administrator to schedule an emergency stakeholders’ meeting in Delta State to address critical issues concerning his office.

These they said, included verification to ascertain that the Amnesty Office had been dealing with the authentic people.

The agitators drawn from Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Edo, Delta, Rivers and Ondo states had voluntarily surrendered their arms and ammunition to the Federal Government.

The leaders of the Presidential Amnesty Phase 3 who rose from a meeting held in Warri Delta State, in a statement made available to journalists, demanded that the Amnesty Interim Administrator should immediately commence a training and empowerment programme.

They also sought for the approval of job slots for their foot soldiers, who had been feeling betrayed by their leaders, just because the Amnesty Office left them in the dark.

Those at the meeting included General Ogidigba Godstime , the Spokesman, Presidential Amnesty Phase 3 Programme; General Oloye, aka Ofovwi Clement, Coordinator; General Bush Prince Efe, Chairman Planning Committee; General Harvest Duku, Planning Committee Adviser.
