Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has received the approval of the Nigeria National Assembly for a new external loan plan of N2.343 trillion (equally $6.183 billion) as contained in the 2021 budget.This new long term loan will raise Nigeria debt profile to reached N36.3 trillion. President Buhari also plead to National Assembly to signed a list of all donor-funded projects under the 2018-2020 Federal Government External Borrowing (Rolling) Plan.

Mr President offer was conveyed in two letters addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Senator Femi Gbajabiamila, which was read by the deputy Speaker of the House, Senator Ahmed Idris Wase.
