680 METER IKOT OKU IKONO FLYOVER: AN IMPOSING CITY FURNITURE

Governor Udom Emmanuel's vision of laying world class infrastructure in the state, has found expression in the ongoing Ikot Oku Ikono Flyover project.

The 680meters bridge links Abak and Etinan road users with Uyo.

The bridge is nearly completed with effective drainages and work is intensifying on the roundabouts and ambience to give the area a good touch of modern city furniture.

It wasn't easy for me to go to school because of this bridge when I was posted to school as a corper in that community (ikot oku-ikono comprehensive high school)
I just have to drop at Eko Mima Junction and treck to school
You would definately sweat and morever your shoes and cloth will look dusty before reaching the school because the construction is underway then.
I wish I could see the bridge when it is completed.
