The Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru has died in an air crash today while on an official trip to Kaduna.The air crash involving a @NigAirForce Beechcraft KING AIR 350 Aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained.
Major General Attahiru Ibrahim the new Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff who had replaced Lt General Tukur Buratai, was appointed to lead the offensive against Boko Haram in the North-East on Jan 26th 2021.

Lt General Attahiru Ibrahim became the 21st Chief of Army Staff and Passed away on the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st decade. A sad day for the Nigerian Armed Forces
