Police in Bayelsa State, yesterday averted a bomb explosion when it recovered an object suspected to be a bomb near a polling unit in Yenagoa. The explosive could have marred the electoral process in the area, but for a pastor, who noticed it and alerted the police.

What really baffled me was that there was no jubilations/celebrations after the results were announced. To think 22 million Nigerians wants the status quo, free and fair election my foot!
