Shameful, this govt is like those TV/Radio sport analysts that are excellent in criticism but zero in playing the game.

The economy can never do well as long as Buhari's foreign exchange controls remain the foundation of the economy. As Sanusi said, it has never worked in any country it was implemented in.

His plan to make agriculture account for 90% of the country's economy is even more frightening.

Inflation remains the real problem. The 18+ percent inflation minus the half percentage growth is 17 percemtage point deeper into poverty. But t is a spark nontheless.

I think this growth is definitely not due to the working class in the country but due to dem yahoo boys. Those dude spend money like there is no tomorrow. They erect structures and purchase rides like local government chairmen would.

As things currently are, the working class a fast getting it difficult to sustain and live a decent life. The middle class have finally been erased, thanks to terminator Buhari.

Obasanjo created a formidable middle class in the society and that was why economic growth during his years were somewhat impressive. The middle class have a somewhat direct effect on economic activities of a nation because they are the ones that do the purchasing the most by their numbers. However right now in the civil and public service, you now either have upper class or low class.

The elders who knew covered their faces.
This is child labour and an abuse of child rights.

0.5% for such an underdeveloped economy is too poor.

That is the growth rate of highly industrialised Countries, and even they are growing at 2-3%.
