First, let's say what you said about detaining the Ukraine president on the orders of the US was true, how are both cases similar?

The US never scrambled fighter jets to intercept a commercial airline that was already in the air. The US never used a false bomb alert to get the plane to the ground so as to arrest someone.

I stand by my earlier statement; The US has never scrambled a fighter jet to go intercept a commercial airline, using a false bomb scare to make it land so as to arrest an individual.

If you are talking about Meng Wanzhou, the Chief financial officer of Huawei, then please be informed that her aircraft was not diverted. She frequently visits Canada and have family members in Canada. It was on her routine visit to Canada that she was detained. Her aircraft was not diverted to Canada.

You will need to provide evidence that it was the US that asked Italy, Spain, Portugal and France to close their airspace to the Bolivian's president plane.

In 2010 the U.S. wanted to arrest a man who was on a flight from France to Mexico. On U.S. instigation the plane was diverted to Canada where the man was arrested and later transferred to the U.S.
