The name BM Rufai always brought joyful relief to hospital patients allover Ile- Ife and the surrounding axis of Osun state. The greatest orthopedic physician Nigeria's ever had and medical hall of famer, with a heart of gold, BM's clientele consisted of society's prominent and less privileged.

Successfully serving 29 years at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH) where he retired as Head of Accidents and Emergency, BM moved on to attain legendary Icon status working medical wonders at Titilope Medical Center- his private practice within the Okoro quarters axis of Ile-Ife.

Painfully, Dr. BM Rufai went on to rest in the bossom of the Lord last year, but joyfully his legacy will forever be remembered, and as such today May 24th- is declared world's BM day, so that family, friends and countless beneficiaries join to wish him a posthumous 67th birthday.
