A government of cattle.

My brother, it goes beyond cattle; cattle is just a ruse for domination and subjugation. Good thing the Southern elites have seen through their ploy and woken up.

Hehehe. To be honest, the union isn't really the problem, our system of governance is. Even the UK, Canada, US and several other countries are a group of nations united into one country.
Nigerian State governments should be given more powers to control their own resources, people, education, healthcare, security, inshort everything that directly affects the people, like the US and Canada does. The Federal government should focus on national issues like borders and national security etc.

There's too much power in the centre and those at the centre will not want to relinquish some to the states, so we are stuck in a system that isn't working.

On the downside, our leaders are greedy people and governors could turn into demigods if given more powers.
USA, Canada have a union of civilised like minds who what progress

In Nigeria the north don't want progress, they created the current system with their fathom majority

Their aim is to opposite everything the south does so as to maintain statos quo

If the south goes right they go left, they never protest anything only do anti protest when the south protest or complains

Our problem is not the system but the northern people

You can't create a good system when they won't support it

Every Nigerian fulani has a right of movement in Nigeria
His cows too have a right but in a truck to market
But does fulani from outside nigeria have a right to movement
This is the fundamental question

I wonder why the Northern should be in the helm of our justice system when they have never and do not have sound lawyers hence their faulty interpretation of the constitution on Nigeria. Justice minister and CJN from north with questionable knowledge of their legal profession and qualifications.

If the fulanis ain't just troublesome, they ll graze their cattle effectively in the north with abundant land, "EXPORT" to the south at a good price and make more money....

But Hell No!
Who told you they don't know what they're doing or what's right ? They're just using cattle as cover up. They have a heinous agenda.

You don’t even have to be a SAN to know that there is no sense in the argument of the FG against open grazing. The right to freedom if movement is not an absolute right, it doesn’t cover the right to illegally enter or occupy people’s properties (farms) and destroy them.

It’s so unfortunate that Buhari is now surrounded by ethnic jingoist who prefer the country to burn all in the name of promoting an ethnic agenda.

You honestly believe Buhari himself isn't part of this ethnic agenda?

Really?

You are still asleep be that o cheesy

That Garba Shehu is a cow. Maybe he eats grass and banning of open grazing will affect him. If not how does ban in open grazing translate to ban on freedom of movement. How is it unconstitutional?
Is there a provision for freedom of movement of animals in the constitution?

I'm just reading this news for South West and South South bc I'm very sure FG won't like to waste their money constructing any grazing space for the fulanis in SE, just imagine, how many police station is still standing now? Even the fulani, if u give him any land in SE for free he is going to reject it...SE no dey play with anything fulani

Face it bro. Buhari himself is the chief ethnic jingoist.
That's how he was using abba kyari for his evil deeds too.
Remember what he did in oyo in 2001? It was also because of herders and their cattle

You know the government is notoriously lawless and tyrannical from inception but supported it Now you are think you're clever by half trying to hoodwink sane people that "Buhari surrounded himself with ethnic jingoist" when the tyrant himself is the chief bigot and ethno-religious supremacist? You no try @ all.

He’s only criticizing the government because he and his paymasters lost out in the scheme of things. The Bubu gang outsmarted them.

He can’t claim to be unaware of Bubu’s antecedents but he actively campaigned for and voted for him, now he’s seeking sympathy. No one should take him seriously. He should lick his wounds in peace.

You say it as though your Buhari is some helpless virgin maiden being married off to a vile old man against her will.
Is he surrounded by ethnic jingoists or did he surround himself with ethnic jingoist? Buhari brought this upon himself. He is not the victim, he's the mastermind.

If Buhari is sick, Osinbajo should help, not that clueless Garbage Shehu.

Relinquishing power to the state without strengthening and correcting the systems will lead to more problems than solutions. Do u know the levels of checks and balances in the laws of uk, Canada and us? They have good laws and strong systems that cannot be abused.

If we strengthen our systems and correct them alone a lot of progress would have been made b4 even considering relinquishing power to states.

Those who defend government always are terrible people. Just imagine having people like those who made statements like 'Biafra boy and spare parts traders' as president of a diverse country like Nigeria. They will be highly sectional, those who are bigots and sectional in their approach to government were once like these zom.bies we have presently in nairaland. There presence in a society is a toxic and a stumbling block to a sane and progressive society.

I’m quite happy that my people are waking up. If it was in the past that Malami made that “spare parts sellers” comment , my people would’ve latched on to that to denigrate the Igbo people. Things are changing.
