ANAMBRA 2021: MAYOR, DUNUKOFIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT, HON CHINWEZE EMEKA, HOLDS APGA STAKEHOLDERS MEETING, TO PLAN A WAY FORWARD

Key stakeholders of All Progressives Grand Alliance party, Dunukofia Local Government Chapter met earlier today to strategize towards the upcoming November 6, 2021 Anambra state Governorship election.


The meeting which was convened by the Chairman of Dunukofia LGA, Hon. Emeka Chinweze and held at the conference hall of the council in Ukpo had in attendance, top government functionaries, Dunukofia APGA executive, former house of assembly members, former council chairmen and others.


In his opening remarks, the Chairman of Dunukofia LGA, Chief Emeka Chinweze thanked the stakeholders for finding time to attend the meeting.

He noted that the meeting was convened to address gray areas in the APGA family as it concerns the council area.


Speaking, Chief Uzuegbunam Okagbue, the Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Obiano spoke on the welfare of party members. He charged the party and stakeholders to ensure that they take care of any member who is bereaved or in need of help which when done will help unite all APGA members and in turn make the party very formidable at the LGA level.


On her part, the Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Hon. Lady Ndidi Mezue harped on the need for regular ward meetings.


She opinied that stakeholders in every ward should work with the APGA ward exco and reconcile all aggrieved members of the ward for the party to be formidable in all the wards.


The Director General of Anambra state Youth Mobilization Technology Innovation, Engr. Emeka Komplete Okonkwo said the reconciliation of aggrieved members is essential in galvanizing all APGA structures towards the upcoming Anambra 2021 gubernatorial election.


Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu, the chief whip of Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Dunukofia state constituency and APGA Chairman, Chief Vincent Ezennia commended the Council Chairman for convening the meeting.

The stakeholders meeting recorded the presence of Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu, Chief Whip and member, representating Dunukofia in Asha, Hon Uzuegbunam Okagbue Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Protocol to Governor, Lady Ndidi Mezue, Commissioner for Social welfare Children and women affairs, Engineer Emeka Okokwo, DG youth mobilization, technology innovation (YMTI), Hon Sir John Olibile, former Chairman Dunukofia and House member, Sir Chukwudi Okeke former chairman Dunukofia LGA and many others.

In his closing remarks, the mayor of Dunukofia LGA, Hon Chinweze Chukwuemeka, in his closing remarks, called for a united force ahead of the forthcoming 2021 Governorship elections in Anambra state. He reiterated the party’s resolve and readiness to win the forthcoming 2021 governorship elections in Anambra State. Hon Chinweze advise members of the party to shun petty animosities and antagonism, but instead work towards winning elections for the party.
