In the interview with Ogini Bernard, he reveals the inspiration behind the idea of championing Pidgin English integration into Literature works in Nigeria.

Among those making history in Nigeria is, Ogini Bernard. He hails from Edo State, Akoko Edo Local Government. He is the first Pidgin English playwright in Nigeria. He has successfully translated different literature books into Pidgin English. Most especially, works of William Shakespeare.

Nigerian Pidgin English literature books 'translated from English' by Ogini Bernard include; Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet authored by William Shakespeare.

During the Covid19 awareness, 2020, Ogini worked with UNESCO as Pidgin translator- Afrika Youth Movement Senegal.
He’s one of the 200 selected from Africa to discuss with the Germans on how to run museums effectively. He’s charged with the responsibility of discussing the importance of using African language for artistic productions.
