If this report is a backlog of COVID data from months ago.

Then, it shouldn't be reported as new cases.
Mushroom Journalism wins it again.

This Government definitely knows how to ride on its people because their minds are really lazy.

Today's report includes:

✅ Backlog of data from Benue and Nasarawa States recorded from February to May 2021

This explains the sudden spike in death, it was backlogged data from Venue.

NCDC should copy the west completely they copy them in giving updates on the numbers of people infected with Covid, thats great and commendable

Now the west have started vaccinating and still maintaining the data update of citizens that received vaccines both the first and second doses

I hope we maintain ours too..

Why include backlogs in a recent report?

Because they are human beings.... just like you and me. Where is your humanity please. When did we cease to be people... to have any empathy for those who are sick unto death around us.

We feel nothing, no pain, no loss unless it affects us personally. A society that has no love or heart, has no care or concern is dead while it pretends to live. That is why all sorts of evil prevail unattended.

Please these are not just numbers. They are people, real people whom the nations has failed, whom the healthcare system has betrayed.

Show empathy please like citizens of other nations for a better tomorrow. Nowhere else I have seen where the victims, the citizens take it upon themselves to scorn, mock, deny and deride their losses.

Little wonder our country is like this, where lives donot matter. Where death to us is just figures and numbers.

Pity.

People don't read at all. Headlines can be deceptive. Until you read the content of the report before you can't understand properly.
