Please my friend's phone is missing - (Samsung phone S10) on Saturday May 30, 2021 and on Sunday she got an SMS that the phone was picked from a POS point where she went to make some transactions. The phone has security (Finger print) so the person claims she switched the SIM to another phone so as to send the SMS with the SIM of the missing phone. She was very sure she never went to the POS point with her phone and suspects someone close to her took the phone.

My question is. Is it possible to get the IMEI number of the phone where the SIM was switched to? If possible how do we go about it?

Tell her to use a desktop, go to Samsung cloud site or so, log in, she can put the phone in lost mode(can’t be formatted or turned off) and it’ll steady have the location services turned, on, so it can be tracked, from the site, take the details to the police station to make a bust. This should have been done as soon as possible as they make have formatted the phone, leading to frp lock, which can be easily bypassed, rest assured your personal files will be safe if you have your google Account logged in. Just head to the nearest sim office and your bank to deactivate that line in the mean time
