[s]IKWERRE, ETCHE, EKPEYE, OPOPO, IBANI(BONNY),URATTA,OGBA, NDOKI ARE ALL INDIGINEOUS IGBO EXTRACTION IN RIVERS STATE(RIVERS IGBOS).BEFORE INDEPENDENCE THERE WAS NO IDENTITY CRISIS AMONG THEM.THIS IS WILLINKS COMMISSION REPORT TO QUEEN OF ENGLAND 1958.[/s]

HERE IS THE WILLINK COMMISSION REPORT OF "1958"

1. “More than 98% of people who inhabit this area (the ‘Igbo Plateau’ of the Eastern region) are Igbo and speak one language, though of course with certain differences of dialect. There are nearly five million of them and they are too many for the soil to support: they are vigorous and intelligent and have pushed outward in every direction, seeking a livelihood by trade or in service in the surrounding areas of the Eastern Region, in the Western Region, in the North and outside Nigeria. They are no more popular with their neighbours than is usual in the case of an energetic and expanding people whose neighbours have a more leisurely outlook on life.”

2. “Though there has been no great kingdom or indigenous culture in the Eastern Region, the coastal chiefs grew on their trade with the (European merchant) ships and they adopted customs, clothing and housing more advanced than those of the peoples of the interior on whom they had at first preyed for slaves. They came during the 19th Century to regard the people of the interior as backward and ignorant, and it was therefore a blow to their pride, as well as to their pockets, when the Ibos began to push outwards into the surrounding fringe of the country and particularly into the Calabar area, to take up land, to grow rich, to own houses and lorries and occupy posts in public services and in the services of large trading firms.”
“It was among the Igbos, formerly despised by the people of Calabar as source of slaves and as a backward people of the interior, now feared and disliked as energetic and educated, that the first political party formed.”

1. I strike through the headline because you trying to misrepresent the intent of the report.

2. Ibos in those areas particularly mentioned "pushed up" to those areas through Migration. Therefore, they weren't indigenous.

Op
Don’t ever in your life try to impress

Igbos all over Nigeria in respective of their state and location knows themselves

Yoruba people since the days of Awolowo has tried to divide igbos because of geographical location and how igbos will be much bigger than Yoruba nation
And votes will count during elections

It was Awolowo idea to Gowon to create 12 states and cut off igbo land putting up administrators in rivers

Yoruba elderly human knows the history but has twisted it into Yoruba narratives to suit themselves

The primary aim of Awolowo is avoid situation where the whole old eastern region is not igbo speaking

Same aim he went to Hausa land and started doing his yorubatic moves .. trying to break Hausa tribes so that Hausa language won’t be North general language

Northerners realize this and stop his helicopter from flying and the idiot from distributing pamphlets all over the north in name of education

Today
The whole north understand Hausa and speak Hausa
From kogi upwards

Yoruba people are still fighting that same battle
Only that they stylishly added Edo Ondo to Niger delta thereby forcing alignment that was never was to old eastern region.. cutting it off and naming same south south

The fear of igbo dominance is the beginning of Yoruba people

Today you see them shouting we the south south
Take south of your Biafra
And so many propaganda daily unleashed on igbo

It’s funny the muscle and energy deployed in all this have left same Yoruba states cites villages as ghosted area

No human, except herdsmen that have become lords all over yoruba land

If you’re writing this to proof a point .. then it’s meaningless
They will soon be here with their Yoruba narratives as told by their TUFACE idibia great grand parents

Even here when you argue with a Yoruba their post will display high level of ignorance and wen try to correct them.. they do come with very heavy insults

They believe they know .. but they know nothing

Everything they know is via propaganda... yes government propaganda

They believe propaganda and NBS statistics or any that their people lead

But in all Nigerians know them and their revisionist issue

So understand the purpose of this thread

They will derail it with insults and abuses

Una cry just dey start, the SW minorities were diabolicaly carved out of SW by who?.
But the same guy did not see the need to carve out the Eastern minorities.
Abacha saw into that fraud and carves out the Eastern minorities, may God rest Abacha's soul.
Some animals draw their map and included Uhrobo and Itshekiri, are these two groups also biabians?.

How powerful do you think they are Now let me tell you, their major strength came from the division they caused among us. Thy aren't as powerful as they make themselves appear to be.

They're powerful enough to keep brothers divided, smart enough to travel miles and still take what's yours yet you praise them for the little they handover.
And yes they have the backing of The Brits the Invincible rulers.

Last thing Nigeria will do is to conduct referendum

Yoruba people even the Sunday IGBOHO will be the first to go against it

Do you understand wht will happen to this human if Biafra leaves and a referendum is conducted in today’s bAyelsa Rivers Akwa cross River..

Bro minorities up north and Yoruba will kick against referendum same way they’re doing so against Biafra

Forget the Muslim North

They already have their plans against a biafra nation

Don’t ask me what

Continue to lie to yourself, Wike is not a Yoruba man, Clark is not a Yoruba man.
You guys should go and sort out your difference with the people of SS and stop wailing Yoruba.
Was this not the same advise that was given to Ojukwu by Sam Aluko, concerning the minorities?.
You guys had better go and look into why people who speaks your language are denying you.

Now I know you’re either drunk or probably mentally imbalanced. Ikwerres, Opobo (Ibani), Ndoki, Ogba & Uratta have never been Igbos. Why this desperation to claim people who despise you? I’m very sure there’s something fundamentally wrong or negative about being Igbo for these groups to constantly & at every given opportunity deny you. The earlier you wake up the better for you. Ndoki & Opobo are Ijaw territories. Ikwerre, Ogba, Ahoada, Omoku & Uratta trace their ancestry from Benin. This emotional blackmail will not help your cause cos none of these territories will join your useless Biafra. Biafra lane starts from Asaba to Anambra, to Abia to Ebonyi to Enugu and ends in Imo. Don’t say you were not warned. Your dream referendum will only be conducted in the SE. You guys should get lost.

If u are so sure of urself why then are u people so scared of a referudum? This is the only non voilent civilized method to decide sensitive issues like these in other civilized climes.

4. Port Harcourt is a town of recent growth and of rapidly increasing importance; it is built on land that blonged originally to an outlying branch of the Ibo tribe, the Diobus, but is largely inhabited by the Ibos from the interior who have come to trade or seek employment….Of the total 747,000 in the Rivers province, 305,000 are Igbos, 240,000 are Ijaws and 156,000 are Ogonis.”
The Coastal Chiefs saw ibos who migrated from the interior as inferior and preyed on them as slaves. Even their Calabar neighbors saw them as slaves. The only advantage ibos had over their neighbors was population which helped dominating the Eastern region.

What point are you trying to make? That Igbos were taken as a slave? Does it negates the fact they are the owners of the land cos it states that they (ibos) began to migrate outwards meaning they were being taken slaves in their land thereby making those coastal chiefs as land grabbers just like you have omoonile in the west or seriki fulani in Yoruba land. Cos even Madam Tinubu took yoruba slaves during slavery era!!! So say something else

Was that the reason Zik refused to create COR state?
And why did Zik had to connive to jail Awo and carved out Midwest while he was in detention.

Willink commission of inquiry was done in 1959 in preparation for Independence ...it recommended creation of saparete region for the western region minorities due to marginalization by yorubas

But saw no need for that in eastern region as the agitation was lead by minority opposition

The report is online please read it ooh stop disgracing your family here

There were no minority opposition in the eastern region. But there were minority tribes who clearly wanted their seperate sate from their ibos oppressors.
There were calls in the Federal house of Assembly to have minorities in the North, West & East have their seperate states but only that of the west was carved out, particularly when both leaders of west, Awo and the leader of the western minorities, Enahoro were in jail through the fraudulent machinations of Zik to have the west weakened & strip Awo off his influence but as luck would have it, both Zik and his master later fell apart and Zik regretted ever after.
