The 2019 presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, has urged the Federal Government to dialogue with secessionists like Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)and Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho.

The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said such discussion would address the root causes of their agitations and help douse tensions in Nigeria.

Featuring on Channels Television’s breakfast show, Sunrise Daily, Moghalu said: “I think that the government should be able to invite, whether it is IPOB or Sunday Igboho, all the secessionists; invite them to the table.

“They are essentially political agitators. You can call them terrorists. That is your own prerogative but we know what terrorism means in reality. Boko Haram are terrorists. We know that.

“Can we address the agitations? Don’t be afraid to address the core reasons behind the agitation because they are crying out for justice. They feel marginalised. What is wrong with addressing those issues?”

Recall that a chieftain of the Igbo apex socio-political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chuks Ibegbu had urged President Muhammadu Buhari to engage Kanu and other agitators in a roundtable discussion

That's the cheapest option in dealing with the problem. But will thier pride allow them tow that part? We'll wait and see. Every conflict ends on the table of negotiation. If fulani thinks they can start and finish a war with ipob, they're mistaken. Any war now will outlive buhari's administration, and may even outlive Nigeria given the gorilla approach ipob intends to employ.
Boko haram should teach Buhari some lessons.

Any way with ipob will most definitely affect the flow of oil in the long run, because they most likely be targeted whether or not niger delta gets involved.

All this Ipob sympathizers, why should buhari hold talk with them, what is their weight in terms of Nigeria politics or sovereignty. They are nothing more than a mere political thugs.

2. Sunday Igboho will never ever sit down to discuss anything with the Fulani government of Nigeria.

3. The struggle for the actualization of Yoruba nation is way bigger than chief Sunday Igboho.
