I went to the bank today..I complained to one of their staff,she said before,the bank charge #10 but reduced to 6.98..that will be deducted from my account.i don't know, whether she is saying the true or not..

It's the network providers that's charging it (MTN, GLO, AIRTEL ETC) not banks

The banks also charges there own

It's a big shame. When Lamido Sanusi discouraged the use of cash in preference of electronic banking, I was one of those that thought he was insane. It turned out to be a brilliant policy.

Now, this government seems determined to undo what Lamido Sanusi did not even do as mobile payments for GSM credit preceeded him.

Buhari has run the economy aground with the full support of the CBN governor who refuses to stand up to Buhari meddling in the banks activities

Now that the government is very broke, it's targeting all means to raise money, known and unknown.

One easy way to raise hundreds of billions is simply to close the gap between the official rate of 410 to a $ and the parallel rate of 480 This should fill the coffers of government by between 50b and 100bn monthly. The CBN governor is powerless to eliminate the disparity because PMB, a renowned economic ignoramus dictates to him.

It means the transaction will not go through. And if it goes through, your account will be negative until you pay in some money.

Which way Nigeria? So, I decided to buy airtime from my bank few minutes ago. To my surprise, I was asked to accept the terms of paying N6.98. This may be a fallout from the Telecom Giants and the banks on USSD payment which the Banks have been defaulting.

No No No! Just now have just bought 100 mtn cards using ussd first bank ×894# to comfirm the reports and they never deduct the said 6.98 from my acct.

Can others first bank users try it ànd report back asap

If you accept you will be credited with 666naira airtime into your mobile network which is deducted from your account


I did it twice on knowingly and I got 1300 airtime into my line which was deducted from my account (Access bank) na them first start this rubbish
