I am an active Twitter handler and but I am so very happy that this just came at the right time. I was a victim of Twitter unfairness, there are thousands of IPOB accounts on Twitter, all tweeting all sorts of offensive and inciting tweets, by just seeing your name, they will start attacking you and calling you all sort of names, I decided to confront one, me and him were all wrong I must confess for using offensive words but to my surprise, Twitter suspended my account, I tried to appeal and also reported the account that started the argument with proofs but to my surprise, Twitter replied me that after studying the tweet they could not find the twee violating their rules. Upon reading that I just gave up. Banning Twitter is the best thing that this government has ever done. Make Twitter taste the meal they have been serving people. Even this yeye channels, once allowed someone (ipob) to its studio, he rained all abusive words, words that are inciting, to the extent of saying kill all Fulanis, on National TV, and Channels aired it, also shared it on Twitter, but Twitter didn't see it wrong. Is that not a high level of hypocrisy. Recently, FFK tweeted, after the death of NECO boss that, the north has killed him as reprisal to the killing of Gulak, that the East should be ready it has begun. This is a fake and inciting tweet but Twitter allowed it fly, why the hypocrisy. Let Twitter be gone forever, if you are not down with it, the lagoon is not far from you, I can even take you there or give your transport. |

Let's celebrate ours. Let's value our nation, our leaders and those at the helm of our affairs. Let's remember if we value ours, nations will respect us. Let there be constructive balance in handling issues. Tweeter should listen to issues raised by the Government and have a balance in handling issues so it won't be seen as biased. Freedom is great but limits guarantee its not abused so that others rights are not infringed. 2 Likes 1 Share |

After this move by the Federal Government, Twitter will thread more cautiously when it comes to Nigeria, we are the giants of Africa as exclaimed by the great American Statesman J.F. Even the Chinese , the Indians, Western Europe and the Americans have identified you as criminals and misfits. You will have your tiny Biafra Enclave and none of you will be allowed in a New Nigeria without strict and limited visa stamps on your Biafran Passports. |

LucemFerre:Back when I was in college in the United States all my West African friends respected Sani Abacha, they admired him for the way he stood up to the West, but back home he was the most vilified President, like the Scripture says, a Good Man is never honored in his own Country, even Christ wondered why? We agree with the decision of our Federal Government to suspend twitter for acts against the Republic. |

This is surprising !!! when we complain that the EFCC is yet to probe most of our corrupt ex Governors, the response we keep getting from government repeatedly is that the: EFCC does its job based on petitions they receive from other citizens , even when we knew they were shielding their corrupt friends, we still find a way to believed them, why now is it difficult for those dullards in Aso rock to believe twitter on its reason of deleting Mr Buhari's tweet on the series of reports received from well thinking Nigerian who knew that such tweets have no place in a sane society and shouldn't have emerged from one in whose hands lies the responsibility of addressing insecurity. |
