True to its promise, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) this morning filed money laundering charges against the former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, that of Jigawa State, Alhaji Saminu Turaki, and their Plateau State counterpart, Joshua Dariye, at the Federal High Court, Abuja, presided over by Justice Binta Nyako. Even though details of the charges were not made known as at the time of filing this report, P.M.News the governors were arraigned in court this afternoon. Dariye, the former Plateau State governor, was the first person brought to court to face the charges while Kalu and Turaki were later brought to court at about 1.45p.m.
