AnanseK: Which stupid war are you talking about? The Fulanis are committing genocide here and there and it's not war. Are you okay? What you call war is people defending themselves against Fulani takeover. Go get your brain examined. |

post=102527708:You are not helping things I support the ban and created a thread to that effect where I have been insulted repeatedly. Insulting the president is no justification for a ban. Is there a single day Buhari is not insulted on Nairaland It is sad and disappointing that on both sides of the divide people are taking positions for totally irrational reasons You talk about arrogance , insult etc all those things are not relevant. The key thing is that Twitter is not incorporated in Nigeria and cannot approach the Nigerian courts. If Twitter was a Nigerian registered business it would and should go to court. What most people do not question is WHY that is not happening People need to get a deep understanding of issues and take positions based on rationality and not sentiment As we were told in mathematics lessons "show your working". Not just the answer. This would be a successful strategic move if it results in a Nigerian company filling the space. Thereafter we can have political debates about regulation of social media This should be seen within the context of "NIGERIA FIRST" As an issue of trade and free speech Any entity that refuses to domicile in Nigeria should not have the influence Twitter has in Nigeria that is the real issue If Twitter think they have a case let them go to court |

post=102527708: Let me tell you one thing. We don't show the world how foolish we are by lieing. Nigeria don't have up to 10million subscriber on Facebook. Goan check your record |
