21 Day Strike Leads To State Of Emergency? by Wilfem(m): 7:13pm On Jul 13, 2007
I've been hearing this from different people, but I'm yet to believe it. I wouldn't know if there's any constitutional provision that if a strike in a particular state gets on to about 21 days, a state of emergency would be declared in that particular state.
Considering the on-going strike strike in Oyo state having been 17 days old, Could this be true and applicable? In case it is true, I hope and pray that God would harden Alao Akala's heart, (like He did for Pharaoh in the Bible) not to pay the minimum wage demanded by the workers, so that a state of emergency would be declared in Oyo state. At least there'll be peace in the state to some extent. grin grin grin
