Unfortunately, no it cannot. The fastest path to wealth is entrepreneurship. But then again entrepreneurship is not for everybody, except those with the hunger, risk tolerance, grit, and focus to brave it. That's why only a few become really wealthy in life because most just don't have what it takes to build wealth like the few successful entrepreneurs. It is what it is.

9am to 6pm job can make you rich if you work in a very good company and move up the ladder.

9am to 6pm job can also make you wealthy, if you work in a very good company and move up the ladder where you are allocated some substantial shares of the company.

Dangote also does 9am to 11pm and he is wealthy
Bank Mds do 9am to 7pm and they are wealthy because of shares allocations.
Many successful entrepreneurs are doing 9am to 7pm and are wealthy.

Employees also get wealthy when they become top management in a million or billion dollar company many are allocated shares based on performance
