The June 12 game between Denmark was abandoned due to an emergency as Christian Eriksen collapsed to ground unchallenged.

UEFA immediately called off the game after the Inter Milan midfielder needed emergency medical help to save his life.
The Scandinavian derby played in Copenhagen was still goalless before the incidence occurred.

Players were in tears as Eriksen's wife was also comforted by the Danish captain Kasper Schmeichel as she could not bear seeing her husband in a critical condition.

The Danish star was stretched off the pitch with fans encouraging the former Tottenham star. Eriksen was surrounded by his teammates as the medical team had him covered with protection from eyes.

Players from both teams left the pitch as well as officials who declared the match inconclusive.
