post=102666683: Man you're nothing but a joke. U claim to want a better Nigeria but take pride in mocking people who criticize failures of the government. Anyone who truly cares about Nigeria would speak out against the ill doings of Buhari's administration, just like they would in any other failed administration. These are people that genuinely care about the welfare of their country. Their loyalty lies to no one man, tribe or political party. 5 Likes |

Must they block the road to protest? Peaceful protest is what the constitution guarantees. When you block the road, you have violated other people's rights to free movement and consequently your own rights could also be circumscribed. 2 Likes |

infogeneral: I didn't hear all this rubbish talk when Jonathan was President. This why they say Nigerians should know their rights, freedom of movement means that you can't keep someone as a prisoner unless they have committed a crime. Can you walk into someone's compound or a gated community and demand freedom of movement? When private individuals holds rallies, burials and parties don't they block the roads? When construction is going on are you going to attack the construction company for violating your freedom of movement? Here's Buhari blocking the road for the occupy Nigeria protest. I'm sick of you hypocritical APC hooligans. 1 Like

When will the Nigerian security agencies learn? When will the governor of Lagos state and his security advisers learn too? The mess they created during the end SARS period by first attacking peaceful protesters all in the name of dislodging their protest with shooting and killing of innocent souls , that subjected them to public shame and disrespect have not taught them anything abii? Firstly, the Lagos CP and Lagos state government that kicked against the preplanned protest of June 12 is the same one talking about taking permission from them abii?, why are people in position of authorities full of actions that can divide this country without a first and second thought of their actions. The police can play a simple and protective measure, by visiting the protest sites, make sure they do not disrupt their protest, guide them from criminal activities which may take place in the cause o event, yet, they will only get to a protest seen and tell them to leave the streets , at any point of rejection, the next thing is shootings and firing of canisters of tear gas, simply because they do not want the protest to hold, the next thing is , painting the picture just the way they just did now. This country needs sense . |

Sunnybay7: There is commissioner of police in every state, facing different security challenges. This is Lagos State Cp and the security challenges is Lagos state for now is hoodlums, cultism , traffic robbers not bandit or bolo haram. So, before you criticise try and understand the varying security challenges facing each state. 1 Like |

Hmmm5: The question is when will people like you learn from the mistake of the past. During the endsar saga you referencing, the protesters were giving freedom to protest , even the governor join them in the protest. At the end, it's was hijacked, people died and property destroyed and the cause defeated. The precarious security challenges all the state are facing now is the aftermath of endsar. No government will allow such carnage happen again in the name of protest. When you become a governor or president you can allow people to protest for 365 days but till then allow them to do their job 1 Like |
