Why Are There No Edifices Named After Buhari? by Raxxye(m): 10:35am On Jun 14, 2021
From my personal observation, I have never seen any road or edifice (particularly in the South-South and South-East and South-West that I am a bit familiar with) that are named after Muhammadu Buhari, even though he was a former Head of State and is in his seventh year as Civilian president.
There is Olu Obasanjo Way in PH, there is IBB way in Calabar, Murtala Mohammed way in Calabar, IBB Avenue in Uyo, even Atiku Abubakar has a road named after him in Uyo. There is Tafawa Balewa Square, I have heard of Shagari Way, Gowon way, etc. Could it be that he personally rejects such or no State has deemed it fit to name anything after him?
Kindly let us know if there are such edifices named after PMB in your state or elsewhere.

Who want to identify with a failure.

In my state some infrastructures that was named after Abacha was renamed immediately after his death.

Rochas Okorocha named a road after Buhari in Owerri. It doesn't mean that the man is not a monumental disaster though

That's another reason PMB is different from them all. He is taciturn, so simple and humble yet hated by those who are immoral and unethical.

Change begins with you!!
