A trip to Cameroon by sea is a dangerous adventure which i wouldn't encourage anyone to take.

Points to note:
A journey to Cameroon is through an open sea from Lagos all the way to Douala the commercial city of Cameroon or to any town along the west coast but in cameroon, be it Idenau,Limbe or any other town which are the closest to the border.

It is not a creek or a river journey before makng a short distance by sea.

The weather could be very funny. Hence, if it rains on the day of the journey, expect to go through a rough sea and serious turbulence caused by strong wind

The area is infested with heavily armed sea pirates, that operates from coastline and the high seas of Bayelsa to calabar estuary before you move into Bakassi and eventually into cameroon territorial waters.

An open sea journey is usually sickly, because of the sea smells which may cause many of the players to vomit and become sick and weak before the game proper.
Thanks

PS: Please don't use the sea route.

Have they thought about sea sickness? Not everyone is genetically built for sea travel.

Op I know you meant Badagry road that leads to Benin republic.
Don't mind the people talking trash.
Nigeria is a funny country.
Once they try something and there is profit in it, they will just sink their fangs into it and won't let go , not minding the circumstances.
Apart from the road leading to Benin republic being bad, the distance between Lagos and Porto Novo is not much, now somebody wants to transport the eagles from Lagos to cameroon, transversing the whole southern coast of Nigeria.is that not madness?
This is exactly how the problem with fuel
importation and subsidy started.
Fuel importation that was meant to be a temporary measure while the refinaries are being fixed, but as soon the government and their agents saw it's a good way to loot money, they have refuse to let go while paying lip service to maintaining or building new refinaries.

If that's the case I want to know why the ferry board is insured and the players are not insured.

Nonsense, Euro was postponed when covid was at its peak without vaccine. You can't defend CAF....don't go there.

All regional competitions are in play right now from euro, concacaf, commebol. CAF have no excuse

I totally agree with you. Cameroon sea is particularly very dangerous. Their coastline lines of Idenau, limbola, Tiko, limbe, Douala..etc are notorious for violent turbulence and boat capsizing. please NFF, do not endanger the lives of our players

Since they won Benin Republic because of their trip via boat, then I think they should be able to win the cup if they're transported to Cameroon via thesame boat.

Why does good news anger you? Is it a curse?

It's other way round bro, no hating here, my thoughts and opinions are personal.

Balogun said the success recorded in the Benin game, where the Eagles won 1-0 away, was as a result of the trouble-free trip.

So what do you expect, to hope less??
We are not going to Cameroon to win qualifying matches, we going for the cup and if Nigeria wins it will surely be a record and success for LAGFERRYY the state government and NIGERIA at large.

Next time think before you quote sad

Nigerians can talk nonsense for money and ego. How's your stupid boat ride responsible for sports performance abeg?

From Lagos to Binin Republic is less than an hour plus away. You want to subject a high performance sports team to a 8 hours plus perilous boat journey through the edges of the Atlantic Ocean for what exactly?.

Have air planes finished in Nigeria?. I just dey use one eye look this picnic abi wetin be him name sef.
