Ebonyi Youths Blast Reno Omokri Over Comment On Umahi


Youths under the aegis of Ebonyi Youths Forum have lambasted former Aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri over his comment to Governor David Nweze Umahi.

In a statement made available to IGBERE TV by Fidelis Orji Nkama, Secretary to Ebonyi Youths Forum described Omokri as a mentally deranged person whose opinion has already been visited by deserving unsupportive responses from his audience.

The group noted that it is not in Umahi’s character to abuse elders and leaders.

The group further challenged Omokri to come out clean and make his mission clear to the general public instead of hiding under flimsy and insignificant assumptions to darken counsel without knowledge.

The statement reads,

"The attention of Ebonyi Youths Forum has been drawn to a social media post credited to Reno Omokri castigating the sensibilities of the Governor of Ebonyi State and Chairman, South East Governors' Forum, Engineer David Nweze Umahi."

"In that ill-fated post, the notable voice in the wilderness chose to denigrate the hard-earned reputation of our multiple Star cum performing Governor for not towing his path of insulting and casting aspersions on the person of President Muhammadu Buhari."

"Ordinarily, we wouldn't be responding to this diatribe comment but considering that it came from a supposed statesman, it is now necessary to talk sense into his draining encephalon in order not to misguide the malleable reading Public."
