Skin cancer is one of the common life-threatening conditions if left untreated. Experts suggest regular skin cancer investigation detects the disease in the early stage, which would help save lives. Experts believe that a few people are more prone to cancer. These people need to go for regular screening without worrying about cancer screening cost, as it could help save a life. Routine skin screening helps detect the unusual or frequently changing moles, which could be the signs of cancer. If the doctor finds that the moles or skin spots are signs of cancer, they would suggest further screening. The diagnosis and treatment can be made as soon as possible.

The biopsy test checks for malignant cells. If the tests of patients are found positive, the doctor starts the treatment immediately. Early detection of this type of cancer has helped in having a five-year survival rate of ninety-nine per cent.

The screening can be done annually at the doctor’s office, which will help people keep an eye on new moles and change in the old ones. Such reviews would help in early detection. Patients can go for self-check at home, between their visits to the experts. A monthly check will help the early signs of this cancer generally could be small shiny bumps on the nose or other parts of the face. These bumps can start from any other part of the body as well. Generally, people with fairer skin are more likely to get this type of cancer.

The first signs of basal skin cancer are dome-shaped skin growth. They can be pink, brown or black, mainly because of the presence of blood vessels. They generally start with a slight pearly bump that looks like a mole or a pimple. Sometimes the boil can be in a darker shade. Another symptom of this skin cancer is waxy, hard skin growth. These growths are fragile and can bleed easily.

Faired skin people, individuals, exposed to UV rays and ones with a family history of skin cancer would need to go for regular tests, as they may be more prone to this condition. Women should be extra careful, as the skin cancer cases are more in women than men.
