If an economy improves but unemployment remains the same or gets worse, the country is stagnant. |

IMF loan conditions, is a deliberate act, to keep Africa economy under, so we depend on them, open up our economics for them, and take advantage of our market, to the detriment of the local market, and currency. IMF just leave us alone...we were doing fine before you stepped in. |

I have long ago stop trusting the statistics and prediction of those international economic bodies. Their statistics does not reflect the through reality of Nigeria economic situation. If only these bodies knows the impact of fraudulent money in our economy obtained by the so called Yahoo boys or hustlers as some will refer to them, they will know better and do their data gathering widely beyond the conventional way of gathering information. When people over blown unemployment rate in Nigeria I just laff. Yes, u may say those people are not employed by employers but if only you know what they control in the economy you will be shock. Take for instance, some of the business in the hospitality industry has benefit massively from this so called Yahoo Yahoo of which many of them are still under the net of unemployment yet their impact is well recognize by Hotels, boutiques, Clubs/Bar etc. |

thebosstrevor1: What good news? This is not an issue of APC VS PDP. Nigeria's population is growing by 2.7% a year. A projected 2.5% economic growth means in real terms is minus 0.2%.So,there will be negative growth in real terms. Between 1999-2013,the economy grew on average 6%. Upon Buhari's assumption of office, the economy has not hit 2% growth rate in a single year. The reason for this are the incomprehensive forex policies he introduced in 2015 soon after he took office. Suludo, Sanusi and Utomi have all condemned these policies. Buhari should take all the blame. If his party is to take any blame, it was that they refused to tame Buhari and put him in order.
