THE MOVIE INDUSTRY (NOLLYWOOD) IS THE MOST DECEITFUL INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA: A MESSAGE TO ALL NIGERIAN MOVIE ACTORS, DIRECTORS AND PRODUCERS

The media is one important agent of socialization that informs, educates, enlighten and also entertain. What the media shows the society, sinks into the consciousness of the people through their journals, newspaper, radio and television. Our movie industry have failed in informing, educating and enlightening us about important issues such as our deep African History, Science, invention, greatness and creation. All they do is to entertain us and make joke over everything. This has created lots of damages to the thinking faculty of our children and our youths today.

While other countries are busy acting movies that promotes their culture, Science, history and Political structure. Our movie industry is busy promoting things that are harmful, inimical and unproductive to our generation. Therefore, the most deceitful and ridiculous industry in Nigeria is the movie industry (Nollywood). They promote lies, stupidity and falsehood. Our movie industry ought to be promoting African history and the invention of our Ancestors. They are suppose to be promoting and projecting the historical research made by African Historians, archeologists and anthropologists about African History. But all they promote are things that will make them have more money and profits. They focus more in money making instead of impacting on our generation and the ones yet unborn. They focus their mind in acting movies that concerns comedy, occult, and other gibberish that attracts the masses just for profit maximization.

The few historical movies about Africa that our movie industry have acted were movies on Slave Trade and European colonialism or conquest. This is false because African History did not start from Slavery but from great invention. All they know is to be promoting how to do money rituals, sex, criminality, comedy, suffering of a girl or boy child and other nonsense and at the end of the movie, they will say "to God be the glory". Even when they want to act epic movies (Village Drama) about Africans, they show us scenes of Africans using leaf as clothes. This is the lie they promote just to show the world that africans were primitive. The truth is, africans are not primitive. Before the Caucasians (Whites) invaded and mischievously penetrated into Africa, we had our beautiful African dress. We did not wear leaf as clothes. We had everything that made life easy for us. Nollywood in Nigeria is promoting the opposite and they deserve to be sued for such stupidity and falsehood.

Our movie industry has failed us. They are the major cause of our brainwashing. If our movie industry can act movies that explain real African history, many of our youths will not be ignorant of their root. Today 95 percent of Nigerian youths don't know anything about african history. The little they know is about slave trade and colonialism. Some don't have anything to say if you ask them the great invention made by their black african Ancestors. All they know is to post pictures on Facebook and Instagram, the names of their favorite Nigerian celebrity, latest update about celebrity gossip and posting twerking videos or watching comedy on Facebook. This is a great damage. When will they act movies about how the Pyramids were built in Egypt around 10000 B.C? When will they start acting movies about how our African Ancestors educated Greek Philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Pythagoras and Hippocrates around 1700 B.C? When will they start acting movies about how our African Ancestors went to Europe and colonized part of it around 711 A.D and even built a university for the Europeans in Spain around 1134?

When will they start acting movies about how we started the school of Science, Alchemy and Imhotep Science of Medicine around 2400 B.C? When will they start acting movies about great African thinkers such as Imhotep, Ptahotep, Remeses the second and African Queens such as Amina of Zaria and the first Queen of Egypt named Hatshepsut? When will they start acting movies about our mythical religion and gods such as Isis, Osiris, Horus, Sango and so on? Look at the Greeks, they act movies about their mythical gods such as Zeus, Athena, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hercules and so on. Many of our youths don't even know that all those Greek gods such as Zeus and Apolo were stolen from African myths around 2800 B.C by the Greeks and Romans and our movie industry is silent about this but all they know is to act movies about money rituals and comedy. Our movie industry is a disgrace to the development of our continent.

We must start a new Dawn and journey. We must use our media especially our movie industry to promote african history that will be productive to our children. We must teach and educate our african children the history and greatness of their Ancestors. They must know that their History did not start from Slavery but from Greatness. Our movie industry must put the development of Africa first instead of profit making. Stand up children of Africa and know your history.
