Project Financing: N-PAS supports 845 Kaduna Farmers

The Nigeria Poverty Alleviation Stipends has supported 845 farmers under the N-PAS Additional Financing project in Kaduna State in the last 3 weeks in the month of May and June 2021.

Mr. Mbaye Mathew Victor, the Director and Chief Media Consultant of N-PAS , made the disclosure in an interview with NewsMen in Space 2000 Barnawa Kaduna on Saturday ,when the team arrived from Kafanchan in collaboration with Africa Investors in Diaspora Association (AIDA) in her continuation exercise of Dr. Philemon Ibrahim Gora President of AIDA and the Initiator of N-PAS who set aside millions of naira to assist farmers and business enterpreneuers.

Victor said ,the support for farmers and business entrepreneurs is Dr Philemon Ibrahim Gora's kind gestures to alleviate poor people from financial struggles and giving them opportunity to improve their businesses on profitable marketing. Victor further stated that for now 275 of the beneficiaries that got empowered last three week's were women and Youth and the elderly that got engaged in agriculture and other businesses.

“The project similarly, in 2018,2019 up to 2021 have made over 61,045 people happy and government should continue to support Dr Philemon Ibrahim Gora in reducing the gap between the rich and the less Privilege .

The initiator of the N-PAS project and president of AIDA had offered similar gestures in Kano,Jigawa,Zamfara state and other state of the federation, in one of his interviews Dr Gora stated that “In its effort to meet up with the project objective of providing employment to youth, the project has prepared a data capturing information system to know areas of immediate need "

According to him, the project is to build the capacity of farmers to ensure more efficiency in production and keep the Nigerian youth busy.
