PROLOGUE

DEKUNLE picked up his Bible as soon as he

tied the lace of his shoes.He looked at the sta

being mirror for a while to appreciate his dre

ssing before moving out of the large room.He

was the one,a lucky one to preach at the First

ever youth conference held at World Assembly

International,one of the largest church in Lago

s and the first international television. It was

a large denomination which comprises of mo

re of youths than older adults.

World Assembly International was a denomi

nation known for its large charity works,they

support small business owners and market wo

men,they are also large financiers of Orphana

ge homes in Lagos,Abuja,Kaduna and Benin.

The Founder,The Renowned Dr.Ajayi Louis wa

s a wealthy billionaire as well as the major fin

nancer of the largest intercontinental bank in

Nigeria 'Stexcom Bank'which is one of the rich

est bank in Nigeria and pan African diaspora.

So Dr.Pst Ajayi Louis was wealthy and was a

big philanthropist, little wonder why his Cong

regation was always filled to the brim,a lot of

people loved him so much especially youths.

Dekunle was one of the lucky few who were

opportuned to work as guest minister and a

personal back up minister to Dr.Pst Louis.Apa

rt from being a medical doctor,pastor,philant

tropist,he was a gospel artiste and as humble

as he was,he attends any church he is invited

to minister as a Gospel Minister.

He owned the LOIZ MUSIK CONCEPT,a record

label where he signed other talented gospel ar

tiste like himself.Artistes like Minister Toddy,

Minister Kenny,Dareh Praise and a host of oth

ers to mention but a few.Let's say Ajayi Louis

was a blessing to his generation and this was

where Dekunle found himself.

He opened his door,came out of the room

and locked the door.He walked towards his

car and opened the wheel door and soon zoo

med out of the compound after issuing some

strict instructions to his house helps;Umor the

gatemen,Tope the cook and Ayo the cleaner.

He checked his time every now and then to

make sure he wasn't late.He still had three

hours left,but the drive from Ajah to Magodo,

the venue of the conference is about two hour

drive and twenty minutes drive.He muttered a

silent prayer and then turned on his radio and

tuned to 95.1 Wazobia FM.He was grateful that

his favorite On-Air-Personality Ratata was on

the show live so he smiled to himself relaxing

his wheel.

He got to the venue two hours and eight mi-

nutes,packed his car and rushed to the minist

er's office to join his fellow ministers who were

to minister that day.He met only Darey Praise

who was practising on his guitar and singing

along while he played.As soon as Darey saw hi

m approaching, he paused and smiler broadly.

They shooked hands and hugged.

"More grace to minister tonight as our most

revered Minister"Darey said and they giggled.

"We thank God and specially our father Dr.Lo

uis for this grace"Dekunle replied humbly.

"Well all this is for God name to be glorified,

We all pray to be vessels unto honour"

"We praise God"

"Anyway you should hurry up,you will soon be

called up the podium. A lot of lives that needs

to be touched are out there waiting for your

anointing"Darey told him and slashed his stri

ngs professionally.

Dekunle punched him playfully on the cheek,

"Kai,stop this na.Who am I"He replied and they

both chuckled again.

He picked up his bag and made to advance to

the inner chamber when a tiny voice stopped

him.

"Welcome, most revered man of God"

He turned to see who passed the compliment,

It was Blossom,the newest signee in LOIZ,who

was a former signee of Mercury, a secular labe

l owned by AbbyZ who was a well known afro

beat artiste.Blossom was the lady who broke

the internet when she announced she was no

longer interested in secular music after winnin

g a Grammy Award.Her fans thought she was

mentally demented when they heard she left

Mercury Music Label and settled with LOIZ,the

Gospel Label.She lost her huge fan base but

she never cared about it since she was satisfi-

ed with her new found life.

It was a pleasure for Dekunle to meet with he

r so early that she even knew he was the one

to specially minister at the seeming largest con

ference ever held in Lagos. The conference call

-ed for the presence of great men of God and

Evangelist like Deacon Omotosho,Joshua Selm

an,Jerry Eze and Apostle Arome.Dekunle knew

he was truly favored to minister among great

ministers of God and he wanted to make do wi

th every opportunity to make sure after the co

nference,his name will pull shadows anywhere

It would be mentioned.

"Hello Blossom,good to see you"Dekunle gre

eted highly elated to meet with a huge public

figure like her.

"I should be saying that Man Of God"she smile

d,her smile sent down cold ripples down his

spine as he saw her dimples,her voice sent hi

m to oblivion of romance sensation.He let out

his hands for handshake and her soft moisturi

zed hands popped some adrenaline.He lost hi

s balance completely unable to speak.

Well.He must know her well,he vowed.

"I must"he said quietly to himself before he tur

ned and left the room to the Altar as soon as

his name was called on stage amidst pomp an

d pageantry.
