Congratulations to Ndi Anambra in advance.

I commend Willy Obiano for allowing a level playing ground where a sound technocrat will have opportunity to take over from him and continue in the drive to set the state on the path of greatness.

That's not what they said pls. The right apga supposed to do today is first to elect her delegates and not conduct primaries.

INEC’s National Commissioner in charge of Publicity and Voters’ Education, Mr. Festus Okoye told THISDAY that APGA had earlier informed the commission of its election to hold ad-hoc delegate congress on June 23, only to later write the commission to declare that the delegates’ election had been conducted.

According to Okoye, “On the 16th of June 2021 the party forwarded to the commission the list of delegates for its congress for the purpose of nominating its candidate for the said election.

“On the 18th June 2021, the Secretary to the Commission responded to the said letter and notified the party that it did not notify the commission of the date of the congress where the ad-hoc delegates were elected as required by Section 85 of the Electoral Act”

Okoye further explained, “ By Section 85 of the Electoral Act 2010(as amended), every registered political party is legally obligated to give the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) 21 days’ statutory notice of its intention to organise any convention, congress, conference or meeting for the purpose of nominating candidates for any of the elective offices specified in the Electoral Act.

“In the statutory notice given to the Commission, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) proposed June 23, 2021 for the conduct of its State Congress for the purposes of nominating its candidate for the Anambra State Governorship Election holding on the 6th of November 2021”, Okoye explained.

So who then voted today?

Nice. I see no reason why Soludo should not win the Governorship.
The APC lady Sharon Izeakor would have been a good choice too, but the power mongers in Anambra APC will not let that happen

The question should be, when did they organise to elect the delegates that voted.

Inec specifically said the delegates supposed to be today..as complete 21 days time frame

In other words Oye faction used invalid delegate list for primary.

This is simple as abc

OK that's expected, I hope they put their house in order and not carry court cases to trouble soludo, meanwhile I still PDP maduka is still a big contender with Peter Obi there it's not going to be easy ride for obiano especially judging the fact that obiano never performed as expected infact Peter Obi did more better than obiano, apart from the anambra cargo airport I don't see anything again obiano did, let's say he tried small for awka as a capital with those hotels establishments everywhere

You have mentioned what Obiano did. Now mention what peter obi did. Obiano has won peter obi repeatedly im his own ward and polling unit. No one is afraid of peter obi and pdp. Obiano is both Anambra and SE best governor since 1999
