Lagos politicians are the one giving them upper hand, they use them to rig elections and use them to do their shenanigans during election campaigns.

Something urgent has to be done to improve security situation in Lagos and ogun states. I was also a victim of similar incidence in agege under the bridge a week ago. Although Nigeria economy is not smiling but the manner of robbery in Lagos environment is becoming worrisome.

This happens frequently in Lagos, many locations in Lagos today are notorious for such crimes ,people have been complaining but they refused to do anything. If only our Government responds to necessary things in the country as fast as they mobilize police and security forces to Stop a Protest and how fast they acted on TwitterBan, the country would be a better place.

No preventive measures. People living at the mercy of criminals. Government dont care. Police probably colluded.

Failure of Ogun State government in security. That area fall under Ogun State Police Command. The government is only interested in tax collection from the residents there using Residency Rule. But infrastructure and other government presence is almost nil.

Fulani terrorists and bandits are not the only problems of Nigeria. Non Fulanis are as evil and blood thirsty for the blood of fellow Nigerians too.

its pathetic..but once there is an election boom you would see a great crowd of police flooding every nook and cranny..Nigeria is a failed state I keep telling people..this is the same reason why our security outfits can't end the war on terrorism and banditry..they just can't fight crime systematically..its almost impossible..

I was also attacked at the pen cinema area of agege in 2017 before the construction of the bridge started. Those agege bois had been unleashing terror in that area for ages and there's a police station close by. It's even now that the bridge is erected there that they've be having a field day because the bridge would serve as a cover.

Lagosians are really suffering from the menace of insecurity but such would never make the news headlines. Last month , a gang of robbers had a field day from abule egba through to ijaiye on a broad day light, robbing motorists in a heavy traffic. May God keep protecting us all. We also need to be security conscious because this government is inept and care-free. Na only noise dem sabi make.

Police as usual nowhere to be found. After all is wasn't a peaceful protest going on. At least 8 of the nuisances gather motorways / 7up daily to harass motorists.

If its for police, trace, frsc , lastma etc to be extorting people in Broad daylight using unmarked vehicle, Nigeria will be Number 1. But to fight crime close to zero. A simple vehicle filled with undercover cops will surfice.
