Nigeria has to disintegrate, or at least, be restructured. Nigeria as it is presently can't be truly united. We are too parochial, too clannish and tribalistic to form any cohesion. Besides, the people are too different (in ideology, in culture, pursuits, virtually in everything). Either we go our separate ways or we restructure.

The different regions running independently can form a conferderal state if we must stay together.

It has always been my opinion that Biafrans in diaspora should work hard and put themselves in very influential positions in influential world powerful countries socially, politically and otherwise. This is the most effective way to breath down on the fulani necks.

Greater powers cobbled nigeria together, greater powers will uncobble nigeria regardless of fulani crocodile and fake tears and cries of 'sovereignty'. fulas do not believe in sovereignty, they are feudal and totalitarian in nature, they have no right to talk about sovereignty while sitting on the necks of Hausas and other ethnic nationalities.

Greater powers above nigeria will be instrumental in destroying the zoo in the fullness of time.

Good one. But MNK should know that biafra of 1967 doesn't exist again. What we have now is Igbo nation of old biafra. Though we will go ahead with the name Biafra bc we lost millions of our people defending biafra.

God bless Alaigbo.
God bless Ndi Igbo.

Igbo always talking about who and what they lost in the war, what about the people killed and the properties destroyed by Igbo in the civil war?
The 1966 Nigerian coup d'état began on 15 January 1966, when mutinous Nigerian soldiers led by Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeajuna killed 22 people including the Prime Minister of Nigeria, many senior politicians, many senior Army officers (including their wives), and sentinels on protective duty. The coup plotters attacked the cities of Kaduna, Ibadan, and Lagos while also blockading the Niger and Benue River within a two-day span of time before the coup plotters were subdued. The General Officer Commanding the Nigerian Army, Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi, was compelled to take control of the government of a country in upheaval, inadvertently putting Nigeria's nascent democracy on hold. His ascendancy to power was deemed a conspiracy by the coup plotters, who were mainly Igbo officers, to pave the way for General Aguiyi-Ironsi to be Head of State of Nigeria. Consequently, the retaliatory events by Northern members of the Nigerian Army that led to deaths of many innocent Igbo soldiers and civilians caused the Nigerian Civil war.

Does it make the losses incurred by the old Eastern Nigeria a lie? Did anyone tie the mouths of those people? Will you stop trying to stifle free speech! Did Igbos stop any other person from talking? Can you even make a fair comparison between both scenarios?

Tribal and religious bigotry won't help anyone. Go and read about a Nigerian of Yoruba extraction called Femi Oke who runs her own live program, The Stream, on Al Jazeera.
She is far ahead of Asher and had once been what Asher is today in same CNN over a decade ago. Asher is a news caster and correspondent, she is still a newbie at that level ,she is yet to have her own program like Oke or Richard Quest.
Now imagine Oke, using her global platform to disparage and run down Nigeria. She will never do that because she loves her fatherland. You can't build anything on hatred for other people and not especially Nigeria you still carry its passport if you have one. Zain is still a learner near Femi Oke yet the Yoruba did not misrepresent her Nigerian-ness.
[/s]

-Okay. We don hear. I suppose your Femi is happy and comfortable with the colonial sham called Nigeria, while Zain Asher is not. Should she not tell her own truth?

What the fvck is wrong with you people here?
Did you just rate Femi Oke ahead of Asher, calling her a newbie, are you for real?

Who hosts "Marketplace Africa" and "One world with Zain Asher", your momma right?

Even Femi Oke has exposed Nigeria severally, so I don't know what you're talking about. Guess you don't even watch them.

Femi Oke should not even be in the same sentence with Zain Asher.

There’s now Social Media where every goddamn soul with data is a reporter.

Ndigbo have invested in the traditional media too. Just as Igbo sons and daughters are everywhere working for reputable media organizations all over the world.

What happened in 1967 shall never repeat itself.

I hate hearing Igbos mouth off that word ‘ozoemena’! They’re usually closet ‘one Nigerianists’ hoping Igbos don’t rock-the-boat, but obediently soak up wave after wave of ill-treatment, state sponsored murder, marginalisation and insults from those who believe Nigeria belongs to them!

They just need a country WHERE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL WILL BE UNLEASHED.

We need a nation that will love us and we love the nation back.
